Somebody should have Taugh Him
I went to a birtday party mom
but I remebered what you said
you told me not to drink at all
so i had sprite instead
I felt proud of myself
the way you said i would
that i didn't choose to drink and drive
though some friends said i should
I knew i made a healthy choice
and your advice to me was right
as the party finally ended
all the kids drove out of site
I got into my won care,
Sure to get home on one piece
never knowing what was comeing
somthing I expected least
Now I'm lying on the pavement
I hear the policemen say
the kid that caused this wreck was drunk
his voice seems far away
My own blood is all around me
as i try hard not to cry
I can hear the paramedic say
This girl is going to die
I'm sure the guy had no idea
while he was flying high
because he choose to drink and drive
that I would have to die
So why do we do it
Knowing it ruins lives?
But not the pain is cutting me
like a thoasand stabbing knives
Tell my sister not to be affraid
tell daddy to be brave
and when i go to heaven put daddy's girl on my grave
somebody should have taught him
that it's wrong to drink and drive
maybe if his mom and dad had
I'd still be alive
My breath is getting shorter
I'm really getting scared
These are my finaly moments
and I'm so unprepared
I wish that you could hold me mom
as i lie here and die
I wish that i could say I love you and goodbye
Retold by Jane Watkins

This is my favorite poem in the whole world and please think of it before you even think about driving drunk!

Together Forever When I died I went away
I went to a place I'll always stay
in your heart you hold me there
Keep me warm with love and care
so close your eyes and see me here
We'll be close soon have no fear
when you think of me please don't cry
Let me go , say goodbye
I'm gone for now but I'll be back
Don't think you must go to and start to pack
there is a reason we come and go
We're together thoough through shine and snow
I may be gone for a little while
but I'll be back so show me a smile
I'm here for you through thick and thin
PLease be good don't harm nor sin
One sweet day you'll see my face
We'll journey together through the happy place
While I'm gone please have a good time
There's many hills you'll have to climb
Without me here I know you'll make it
There's a light in my heart i know you lit
I wont leave for good not now not ever
'cause I know we'll be Together Forever

This Poem was writen by me and recited for my Grandmother at her Funeral...R.I.P

Happiness
Happiness is fun
All day laying in the sun
Play with your friends all night
People might say you have alot of might
Insist on haning out after school
Now everyone thinks your cool
Eternal happiness comes from friends
Say they'll be there around the bend
Some stay 'till the end

Perfact Friend
When i Picture the Perfact Friend
I see a friendship to the end
We would play all day
and on the beach we would lay
Talk on the Phone all day and night
we wouldn't ever have reason to fight
Whenever we found some fear
We knew the other was near
So in conclusion I end my tale
I know this friendship will never fail

This poem is dedicated to my three best friend Stacy , Theresa , and Callie....Luv you Guys!!

At Days End

Is anybody happier because you passed his way?
Does anyone remember that you spoke to him today?
The day is almost over and its toiling time is through:
Is there anyone to utter now a kindly word of you?

Can you say tonight, in parting with the day that's slipping fast
That you helped a single brother of the many that you passed?
Is a single heart rejoicing over what you did or said?
Does the woman whose hope was fading now with courage look ahead?

Did you waste the day or lose it? Was it well or sorely spent?
Did you leave a trail of kindness or a scar of discontent?
As you close your eyes in slumber, do you think that God will say:
"You have earned one more tomorrow by the work you've dont today"?
